Since our launch in 2008, millions of students have used Password test results for admission to universities, colleges and schools around the world. Password tests are highly regarded by our institutional partners.
Working in partnership with world-leading proctors Meazure Learning, each test is securely invigilated and recorded using both human proctors and proctor assistive software before being reviewed by our own expert team.
The Password Skills Plus test costs £110 (plus VAT where applicable) and is purchased directly from our website. Results are available within seven working days and a free online validation portal is available to institutions every day of the year.
Password Skills Plus is an English language proficiency test for university admission.
It fulfils all UK Home Office requirements for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
The test has been independently aligned to the CEFR and comprises four modules, one for each language skill, which are designed to assess academic English.
The test takes three hours and five minutes and is delivered online.
Password Skills Plus is delivered online and invigilated (proctored) by our partners Meazure Learning (formerly Examity).
Once a test has been purchased, test takers receive a link from Meazure Learning where they set up their profile and schedule their test.
On test day, test takers meet their invigilator (proctor) online and are taken through the instructions before starting the test.
Test results are emailed to test takers within seven working days.
